We took a train weaving through the Mountians to Liptovsky Mikulas. You could see all the peaks of the Mountains doused with snow. It was really pretty! Our first stop was the water park: Tatralandia. It was so cool! the waterslides started inside, went outside, and ended inside. The water was from the hot springs so it wasn't cold, and all the pools were covered with steam. We got to swim around outside, looking at the mountains, the sunset, and the moonrise from a warm pool.
The waterslides were not at all ordinary. They were complete with sound effects, and led lights, and they mystery of the steam to cloud your look to the upcoming surprises. One was called "galaxy" and had lots of lights for the stars and solar system entities. Another one was a funnel that you got flushed down.
Day two of our adventure started with Coffee and Pancakes. We found a resturant called Tinky Pinky Palacinky. They only had pancakes- the think eurpoean ones like crepes. They were so good stuffed with bananas and chocolate. Then fully loaded with caffene we coverend the Juraj Janosik Torture Museum, the Art Gallery, and a few of the churches, and some shops in the square. I found a First grade book of activities in slovak to help me practice. I worked on it the whole train ride home!
Tomorrows adventure: the doctors office. I have a pretty nasty sounding cough that just doesnt want to let go.
